Oxford Community Action

Only one (!!) more sleep until this year’s Oxford Eid Extravaganza. We are so, so excited to see you all and share with you everything we have been planning for months.
From noon until 7 pm we will be welcoming you at Cheney School.
Every year we organise a community celebration which is attended by people from all communities. Nothing is more pleasing for us than to see families, friends and neighbours from all communities, all nationalities, all ages coming together to celebrate a day together.
Entry is free. There will a range of fun rides and attractions for children, teenagers and adults. There will also be a range of grassroots and community-based stalls from our trusted sellers. And finally, there will a huge selection of food stalls from cuisines around the world to really tickle those tastebuds.
The event is organized by a small group of hard working and dedicated volunteers who want to do something for the people of Oxford.
There is something for the whole family. Please come along and support this community event. If you can please avoid bringing your cars and use public transport that would take the pressure off the limited parking.
If you’re new in Oxford then this is a great place to meet new people. If you’re a local then it’s a great place to meet old friends!
Most importantly, we want you to come, enjoy, have fun and enjoy Eid with us as one community. Please share this with your family, friends and neighbours and everyone else that would enjoy.
Warmly,
the whole Oxford Eid Extravaganza team
