Eid Mubarak from Oxford Community Action! 🌙✨🕌
May Allah accept your good deeds and may your Eid be filled with love and blessings!
As we come together to celebrate Eid ul-Fitr, let’s reflect on the discipline, sacrifice and empathy we learned during Ramadan, and extend kindness to those who may be facing challenges or feeling lonely.

Eid ul-Fitr, the “Festivity of Breaking the Fast”, marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan. Traditionally, Eid begins at sunset on the night of the first sighting of the crescent moon, which in the Islamic calendar marks the first day of Shawwal.
Eid ul-Fitr celebrates the spiritual achievements gained throughout fasting and abstinence from all unrighteous thoughts and behaviours during Ramadan. It is a time to celebrate with friends, family and neighbours, and to feel gratitude and joy for all the blessings in our lives.
