What a wonderful time we had with our Holiday Activities last week! We did it all – from swimming to ice skating, from cycling training to creative fun, and, with the weather so lovely, there was lots of outdoor play, too!
More than 60 children took part, for the symbolic price of £2 that allowed everyone to participate in this community-run program.
Throughout the week, we placed a focus on the importance of sharing, promoting love, compassion and mutual care – the values by which we run our programs.
As ever, the program was the work of many hearts, hands, and minds. OCA’s aim is always to achieve inclusive representation of our communities, and our working partnerships reflect that.
Thank you to Fusion Arts, Diversity Football League, Flo’s – The Place in the Park, and CyclAbility Oxford (https://www.cyclability.org/) for being our partners in this half term’s project – and thank you to OCA Kitchen, University of Oxford,
OCA Kitchen provided delicious food at our new café (more on this soon) which the children thoroughly enjoyed Well done and a massive Thank You! to our chefs!
Last but not the least, thank you so much to all the parents who enrolled their kids in this half term’s activities and especially to the ones who’ve supported us by volunteering on the day. You are all superstars!
