Christmas Lunch Recap

Four days later and we’re still glowing with joy from our Christmas lunch. It turned out a huge success. We dished out 320 free meals to members in our community: 58 at Donnington Doorstep Family Centre, 180 deliveries, and 82 to senior citizens (more on this last group in our next post). The children’s eyes were glittering, laughter and

appreciation filled the air as well as the smell of festive spices – a truly special Christmas for us.

We want to use this post to thank all the people who have made this possible:

Our amazing chefs Omo, Luke, Lubna, Fatima, Riz, Sahar, Nadima, who dished up an absolute feast.

Our generous delivery drivers who spent hours on Christmas day in their cars, bringing food to the community: Osmond Charles, Dolcie Obhiozele, Millicent Williams, Mohamed Said.

Our crew members Cllr Imade Edosomwan, Luke Ejodamen, Mujahid, Ella, Prince Adebowale Ademiluyi, Mori, and Hassan without whom this would have been impossible. The same should be said about the whole OX4 Food Crew – thanks!
