Christmas Lunch Recap

We had the most wonderful Christmas lunch with our communities at Blackbird Leys Community Centre. Locals and refugees, old timers and new arrivals to our city – everyone came together. There was so much love, solidarity, and amazing food going around – it really warmed our heart. The children’s smiles when they opened their presents were absolutely priceless.

We have so many people to thank for making this happen. First and foremost, thank you to everyone who came for bringing the biggest gift of all: yourselves, as well as the Christmas spirit. Thank you to all those who donated nearly £2,000 to make this a reality – wow! And a final, huge thank you to all our amazing cooks – Imade, Sarah, Luke, Ridwan – volunteers and supporters, who gave their time, energy, and work to make this event happen. You are OCA. Without you, none of this could have happened.
