Community hiking group
Looking for a way to stay active this autumn and winter that also supports your community? We’ve got something for you!
Since April 2017, our very own Mujahid has been leading free monthly walks in a family-friendly, community atmosphere. So far the group has visited Durdle Door, Cheddar Gorge, Isle of Purbeck, the Roaches … with many more amazing hikes in the pipeline.
The walks are organised by the community for the community – just as we love it! Think communal car-sharing, group decisions on possible locations, and an informal leadership program. Doesn’t it just sound amazing?
And if that wasn’t enough, the group collects voluntary donations at each hike for OCA. During the last four hikes they’ve raised nearly £600 in total! That’s almost 600 families in our community who we were able to provide food free of charge.
Perhaps you’d like to join the next hike?
Just message Mujahid on The Cupping Therapy facebook page or by sending him an email at [email protected].
And if you’d like to get additional health support in the coming months, check out The Cupping Therapy for an alternative therapy which has been practiced for thousands of years.
