We are pleased to announce that today is the first day of our partnership with Donnington Doorstep – an independent, community-based family centre in East Oxford. We have just taken over the kitchen, and will be there every week to prepare and provide affordable, nutritious and healthy meals for families and users of the service.
Both Donnington Doorstep and Oxford Community Action are part of the OX4 Food Crew, a collaborative of 9 organisations, responding to the growing food crisis of food insecurity in Oxford.
We’re excited to start this partnership and looking optimistically to whatever else this year will bring. Here’s to 2024!
