Are you ready for a feel-good coffee machine story? A few weeks ago, we had a problem. We wanted to open a café – but we had no coffee machine. And a good coffee machine costs several thousand pounds. As a grassroots organisation, we don’t have that kind of money. What were we to do?
We spent many hours puzzling over this problem. Then we got a message out of the blue from Routes Coffee, a local coffee roasting business. We couldn’t believe what they were offering us. They would provide us with a high-quality coffee machine. And all we had to do in return was to commit to buying all our coffee, hot chocolate, and chai exclusively from them. It was an amazing deal.
