Last weekend’s OCA Cup was an absolute blast. Thank you to all the supporters, referees, players, team managers, and everyone else who made this possible. You rock!
Out of the eleven teams, FC Olympia emerged victorious and are bringing home the trophy to Birmingham. Congratulations!
In an exciting final, they beat FC Romania from Oxford 4-1. After the final, the two teams got together for a picture to celebrate their achievements. That’s exactly the kind of community spirit we love to see – pushing each other on, with a smile on our faces.
The best spirit on the day was shown by Academica Oxford who won the Sportsmanship Award, while Mohamed was the tournament’s top scorer – congratulations!
We are looking forward to our next tournament in September – stay posted. And in the meantime, don’t forget about our holiday activities (see posts below). Any kids (with consent form) and any volunteers are very much welcome.
