Oxford Community Action

This week’s OCA half-term holiday activities were as action- and fun-packed as ever.
Thanks to our fantastic supporter Segen Michael, @Fusion Lifestyle‘s Sport and Community Development Officer, the OCA children had an amazing time at the swimming pool.
Another highlight for many kids was getting to ride Wheels For All Oxford’s beautiful bikes. Wheels for All Oxford is part of national all-inclusive bicycling initiative. You can join them every Friday morning at the Athletics Track, Horspath Road. Find out more here: https://www.wfaoxford.org/. Thank you Active Oxfordshire‘s Chief Executive Josh Lenthall and Access Sport Oxfordshire Manager Hayley Sanders for joining us and helping teach the kids how to ride the bikes.
A third highlight was the fun science experiments Science Oxford ran for our children – thank you!
A fourth, a visit to the Ashmolean Museum. Thank you all the Ashmolean staff for making this a fun learning experience.
It really was an amazing week. Thank you to all our volunteers and supporters for making this possible!
Without the support of our three local councillors Shaista Aziz, Ed Turner and Diko Walcott this could not have been the success that it was.
A final thanks to OCA Kitchen chefs for the delicious food!
