Oxford Community Action

REMINDER: This is happening TOMORROW! ๐Ÿงก๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’›
Our very own Omotunde Coker, a wholehearted, amazingly talented community researcher has organised this event for Black and other ethnic minority current mothers with children from 0-6 years/ aspiring mothers/ pregnant mothers to talk about your maternity experiences in Oxfordshire. Anyone is welcome!
This is a community space for mothers to share your positive and your bad experiences, your worries, your hopes, how Covid has impacted your experiences with the healthcare system, and anything else you’d like to talk about.
Have you never had a young mothers support group because you worried that you might stand out? Are you looking for more information and resources by minority ethnic mothers for minority ethnic mothers? Are you looking for a space to advocate as a minority ethnic mother for better healthcare support? This is your group!
Dads, husbands, boyfriends, partners, … are all welcome too in this space. We’d love to hear your experiences.
There will be food, drinks and music. Our friends from Film Oxford will be visiting as well. You don’t want to miss it!
