We have been waiting for weeks for tonight’s Grand Iftar, co-hosted by Oxford Homeless Project and Oxford University Islamic Society. Will you join us?

Dear friends,
On Saturday 23rd April we would like to invite you and all of our friends in need to join us for a community meal. It’s time to bring people together after the few years we’ve all had.
Every year during the month of Ramadan we organise the Grand Iftar. An iftar is when Muslims break their fast at sunset! So we will have this meal at approx 8pm but guests can come around 7.30pm.
We know this is a very difficult time for many and putting food on the table is hard. The Grand iftar is an opportunity to help and serve our community who maybe struggling right now. However, you don’t have to fit in any bracket to join us. The meal is for anyone. These last few years have been tough on everyone so we all need a bit of community support.
So please spread the word and join us.
When ? It’s next Saturday at 7.45pm
Where ? At Asian Cultural Centre, top of Manzil way ( off Cowley road)
Who for? Anyone who could do with a cheer up and meet new people too!
How can you help? If you would like to donate some food, drinks, desserts then you’re most welcome.
If you don’t have time to make or buy anything you can also donate towards the iftar but donating to OHP.
